Mercedes Steering Lock Failure
Is your Mercedes almost totally unresponsive? You put the key in, turn it and you get no ignition except for the middle circle with the date in it? You most likely have a steering lock fault.
The good news is we can fix this and get you back on the road as soon as possible. It’s a big job, but we can disengage your steering lock and then fit an emulator to mimic the original. You’ll then have no further faults for the steering lock at all.
Please bear in mind that if you have dragged the vehicle on or off a recovery truck, then wheel alignment may need to be done at a garage to correct this, but you can do this later.

Friendly Asked Questions.
Will I ever have this problem again?
No, we fit an emulator which mimics a Mercedes steering lock. The actual steering lock is disabled and so can never represent a problem again. Replacing the steering lock with another mechanical one is possible but false economy, as it’ll just fail again. Our solution is a permanent fix.
How long will it take?
We will be as fast as possible. We can come to you the same day and get the job done. On arrival, the whole job will take a maximum of 4 hours. Depending if the steering lock is stuck on or not.
It's in a supermarket or work, can you go there?
Yes of course. Simply let us know where the car is and we’ll go there. Supermarkets are fine. If the vehicle is in a multistory car park and the van won’t fit, we will have to walk to and from the van which may increase the time to repair the vehicle (at no extra cost).
Do I get a guarantee?
Yes of course. This fix is a permanent and guaranteed fix for a faulty steering lock.
